Heather V. Laughlin, Pilates Instructor, CMT
My love for Pilates grew out of my personal experience in rehabilitating my own back, after an injury. After exploring many different types of bodywork on my healing path, it was Pilates that got me stronger than I had ever been before, and which allowed me to live my life free of back pain, even through two pregnancies!
I bring to my practice an intuitive knowledge of healing, combined with my personal experience in dance, massage, personal training, Pilates and more recently Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability, DNS. I have taught mat classes, group and individual sessions on the Pilates equipment, and have led Pilates training courses. I am passionate about teaching to the core, and enthusiastic about guiding others on their personal journey to optimum health and fitness.
I believe that movement and activities that are challenging both mentally and physically bring you more fully into the present moment and the more we live in the moment, the richer our lives are lived.
